Got asked to build a couple of cheap Gaming PCs.

They are built and working well. Decided to make this post to document the parts.

Started with a Dell Precision T1650 with the Xeon E3-1225v2 £160

Than a no named PSU Ace 750W £19.98 (later on the people I built it for are going to upgrade to the EVGA 430W)

ASUS ROG-STRIX-RX570 £201.99 (that price when we got them)

As the GPU needed a 8-pin and the PSU only came with a 6-pin I had to get an adapter for £2.54

A bonus the Dell motherboard didn't use a weird proprietary connector so the default 24-pin on the PSU worked fine (some Dells use a proprietary motherboard connector).

The system as of posting this should do all modern games on ultra at 1080p, and so far it has exceeded all expectations doing better than 60FPS@1080p

Total: £384.51

Everything went together well apart from fitting the GPU. The USB motherboard header cable was in the way for the GPU. So had to be removed to fit the graphics card.

A work around to get back the front USB's is to get a 5.25" USB hub drive. Something like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/7-Port-5Gbs-US...51fca48b80

And getting a USB male-to-male cable and running it from the back of the PC USBs and running it though a gap in one of the PCI slots in the case.

As you need a gaming mouse for gaming, this is what I got them £7.99: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00E...UTF8&psc=1
