am, or was, running pinguy 12.10, however found that after had installed the large number if updates it said i had, i completely lost synaptic manager.
know you can use software centre, but at same time synaptic went, so did my wireless connection, and to get that back, need to install broadcom.
tried doing it with sudo, but to no avail. yes know i´m probably doing something silly, but would like to get pinguy back and running, have uninstalled until know what i have to do.
thanks in anticipation of your help
