I Love my Pinguy! Loaded on my killer Laptop, Haven't been on Windows 7 but about 4 times since I loaded this on.
Now, to my Question. I have acquired a Desktop system, its a older computer in great shape. I was gonna load Pinguy on this puppy, but, I can't boot from disc, even after going thru F2 on reboot. It just ignores the disc.
How can I just drop on my Pinguy ISO on my desktop and Boot from that? Or can I? I want this XP GONE! This piece has XP Pro on it, and its a Dell Optiplex 170 L.
Open to suggestions, am thinking about building a stripped down Hotrod, should the Computer not work out. Even thought about using AntiX....
Oh , before I forget, I have to log in everytime I start it, which I think is interfering with the bootloader on the Disc. Mike, Whoever the Moron was before, had a password. So I had to make myself admin. and use a password just to bring the system up. I just want it gone and Pinguy on it! Thanks guys!
