So in the last years i have grown frustrated by windows cause it isnt fast enough for my taste, i want to run Utorrent, Opera next (12.12), Google Chrome, Jaangle, Mipony, Soulseek (sometimes), MediaPlayerClassic (when im watching series or movies) and Word 2007 all at once without it getting laggy.. (+ TuneUp Utilities AND IT GETS LAGGY.. (and Everything Search Engine)

I dont understand it, i have 4GB RAM, so it should be allright..

anyway, when tthe lagging happens, for example (im browsing Chrome) and want to skip to opera cause i remember that there are some torrents there are i need and BOOM... then i just get a tantrum..

I dont understand PinguyOS that well, i mean i LOVE the desktop thingy so thats cool..

But let me run you trou my troubles..

First my dad is a linux fan thanks to paranoid reasons but i dont understand it cause windows supports certain applications (listed above) and linux only uses them with vine and who knows how well that works, right?, so that is why i am hesitant to try anything not windows like cause i just do not know it..

So, when i am gonna install it i see the following problems:

A) HP Probooks wont run normally if you dont install the software provided on their cdisk (in W8 it runs smoothly without thou) is this gonna collide with your software?

B) I always copy the Roaming (and local too for opera ) folders so i can continue where i left off (alright, i forgot the occasional something, and it is still giving me heartbreak), is this possible on POS as well (cause i have a feed life with Opera i cannot part from and my whole universe would collapse if i lost that) and so goes for the rest too really..

C) does POS also have a ''Startup'' map, so that windows starts up all your programs for you when you login?

D) can you install normal windows progams (like dictionaries, comic readers and epub readers)

E) is there a possibility to copy the settings of Rocketdock referring to Administrator rather than a name? (cause then i have to hand pick 35 folders againImage may be NSFW.

Sad

F) can you create taskmgr and diskmgmt type shortcuts?

G) can you install Tune Up Utilities (or doesnt that needed in POS?)

But i am a choosy pig.. for one, i want to keep using Opera, Soulseek, Jaangle, Mipony Utorrent and Chrome (can i install and use them normally on POS) (i can part with MPC as i only use it for the use of their klitecodecpack and i use MSWORD cause no bloody other word processor thingy seems to have AND support of Doc and Docx Files and a handy drop down menu with files you have used (and not that you have to go to recent files every time you want a file). (oh and ACD Photo Manager of course)

To go short: can it run this: Utorrent, Opera next (12.12), Google Chrome, Jaangle, Mipony, Soulseek (sometimes), MediaPlayerClassic (when im watching series or movies) and Word 2007 all at once without it getting laggy.. (+ TuneUp Utilities AND IT GETS LAGGY.. (and Everything Search Engine and ACD)

hope you can help me guys,

Good night,

Willem
