The installer crashes after the disk is formatted and the choose your time zone windows pops up. About a second after the time window shows up another window pops up "Installer crashed" with a sorry note attached to it. I click the close button, it collects information and then another window pops up with "Invalid problem report" "Could not determine the package or source package name". Then it fires up the desktop, which works fine. I hit the Install icon and it fails again at the same point.
I did set up the VB for Ubuntu with 2gb ram and 30gb hard drive. I am using a DVD which I burned for a frend of mine and checked the md5sum. I will try the iso file next to see if I get the same result.
The VB is the latest version 4.2.16 and the OS is the 32 bit 12.04
