Gnome is too heavy for my netbook, but unity actually works surprisingly well and gives me a little bit of extra screen real-estate as well.
I know there are some users here that prefer the Unity de over Gnome and install it alongside Gnome. in the past this has never been a problem for me but gnome 3.10 is not compatible with unity, so I'm wondering how do I go about installing unity, or even any other desktop environment as I have also installed e17, and I'm unable to log out and log into e17.
must i get into a non graphical environment and remove Gnome?
