Date\Time display cut off

Hi, My date\time in the top right is cut off part way through the time, I can see the hour but no minutes. Is there a way to slide stuff along on the top bar to make more room? There's an icon up there that doesn't respond to clicks either, looks like a film strip with a "play" triangle.

Any suggestions?
