Hey Guys, I started using Pear OS 8 yesterday, and it seems to be the only distro that works 100% on my laptop. I was wondering, because Windows XP hasp reached the end of its life and is no longer supported by Microsoft, if Pear OS was like this as well. From what I've been reading, Windows XP will become a hackers paradise because of this, is linux like this too? Or is Pear still going to get updates and support from Ubuntu because it is Ubuntu based?
-Also, is there another Mac based linux OS out there? (Yes, I do like the look of Mac).
