Hard drive replacement

I'm going to be doing something that I've never actually done before, and I'm asking here to see if there are any potential pitfalls that I haven't thought of yet.

My desktop computer has two physical hard drives. One has multiple partitions (for multiple OSes), the other is one big partition, which I use for documents. The "documents" drive is dying, so I got a new drive to replace it.

I'm going to use Clonezilla to transfer everything from the old drive to the new drive. Then I'm going to check the UUID of the new drive, edit the /etc/fstab file to remove the UUID of the old drive and replace it with the new UUID. Then I'll power down the box, switch out the drive, and power up again.

Sound good? Any other issues to think about? My current /home is on the drive that isn't getting replaced, so settings and boot stuff won't be affected at all.

Thanks, all.
