Hi guy's,

I've just tried to install Pinguy OS 14.04 mini. For some reason Pinguy OS is detecting my monitor as a 19 inch when it's a 32 inch, that's causing me problems. When I try to install the resolution is so poor that everything on the screen is too big. I can't install the OS for the simple reason I can't see most of the menu whilst attempting install. I'll post some screenshots so you can see exactly what I mean.

Just to be clear I have this very same problem whilst trying to install Ubuntu Gnome edition. I'm currently running Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Unity and I've had no problems with that. I've even been able to install gnome DE on my Ubuntu Unity without any problems at all. Also I installed Arch Linux not long ago and gnome was fine with that.

I hope someone can't help me with this problem, I haven't used Pinguy OS for a while but I'm really excited about 14.04. I'll post my specs below and pictures of my problem.

Specs: Late 2012 Mac mini
Intel core i5 2.5Ghz turbo boost upto 3.1Ghz
Intel HD 4000 Graphics.
500GB Hard drive
16GB DDR3 1600Mhz RAM.

And I have my machine connected to a Samsung 32 HD ready TV.

Pictures of the issue I'm facing:

Thanks in advance for any help.

Edit to add: If you notice I cant see the lower parts of the menu's whilst installing, the arrow keys do nothing.

Edit number 2: Just To add I'm using the rEFIned boot manager and only face this problem with Gnome.
