I am excited to try out PinguyOS.
Have tried most all and looking for one that works out of box and plays nice with Windows network. Need to share drives in both directions (win - linux / linux - win) and told PinguyOS is the way to go.
My issue:
I have downloaded the 64bit ISO and burnt image (just like I did when trying Ubuntu, Fedora and many others). Tried direct download and torrent and tired it numerous times. Even popped a different DVD drive in target machine. No luck. Drive spins and spins after choosing to install. Get to menu screen on DVD, but no further. Will not do the live cd or install.
Like I said, have downloaded many different 64bit OS's over the past couple of weeks to try them. Not a single one has had issues, only PinguyOS. Burnt PinguyOS image just like all the others.
Any ideas? My ole head is getting sore from banging on the desk![Smile]( "Smile")
