Hello Team.
I installed Pinguy OS 12.04 LTS onto a 'HP Pavilion g7-1338dx Notebook PC' with a "Intel HD Graphics 3000" graphics card.
At first, when trying to install the Pinguy OS (Off of a Flash Drive or Dvd) I would get a blank screen after selecting the Live option or the Install option. To bypass the issue to install Pinguy OS I had to hit the TAB key and add 'nomodeset'.
To Make The Long Story Short...
After the installation I was not able to select the first option to load the OS. I would always have to select the "Recovery" option. I input the command 'lspci' from the Terminal window and looked on HP's website for the exact name/model of the graphics card - Intel HD Graphics 3000.
Now, If someone know of a solution or where I can find the drivers please let me know ASAP!
P.S. ~ No drivers found in "Additional Drivers".
P.S.S. ~ Even installed and ran "Intel Driver Update Utility for Linux Systems" and no luck.
