When I run sudo apt-get update I get this error message. I can't figure out what is wrong in the sources.

W: Failed to fetch http://ftp.ftp.videolan.org/pub/debian/s...elease.gpg Could not connect passive socket. [IP: 88.191.250.2 21]

W: Failed to fetch http://ftp.ftp.videolan.org/pub/debian/s..../Packages Could not connect passive socket. [IP: 88.191.250.2 21]

W: Failed to fetch http://ftp.ftp.videolan.org/pub/debian/stable/./en_US Could not connect passive socket. [IP: 88.191.250.2 21]

W: Failed to fetch http://ftp.ftp.videolan.org/pub/debian/stable/./en Could not connect passive socket. [IP: 88.191.250.2 21]

videolan-stable-daily.list has the following

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/videolan/stable-daily/ubuntu trusty main

I can't find any other reference to videolan in the sources.list file.

I'm on 14.04
