Ok so ive been trying for a while now for my laptop to use the full 6gb ram that i installed on it.
first i started with the32 bit os (pinguy 12) with the PAE but it didnt work so i decided to do a full wipe and just go with the 64 bit system which by default is made for 4gb ram and above but when i go into my system settings it shows me that i still only have 3.5 gb of ram. what's going on? i have 6gb of rem in this thing...
