Hi all.
I just recently installed 14.04 Papercut on a desktop my family and I use.
We each have our own login ID.
Anyway after working on it for a few days now, and making some changes or tweaks, I have hit a strange graphics issue with my desktop.
I am getting ghost images of whatever program/application/icon or whatever is selected, minimized, or closed. See the attached images.
I cannot figure out if this is something I did by changing some setting or what. One time I seem to get it to go away by using print screen, but when I logged out and back in, it was doing it again.
Any ideas?
UPDATE: I found out that by using the printscreen button on my keyboard, this seems to "fix" it, but again logout/login again and it comes back. Also, I have checked dmesg, and Xorg.0.log to see if there were any 'X' related messages that could shed some light on it, but nothing.
