Pinguy OS 14.04 64bit
Hi there,
I have a Cancon MP610 3in1 device. It prints fine but the scanner is not detected by sane. It used to print fine though.
Both - printing and scanning - worked fine w/ Pinguy OS 12.04 and it did in 14.04 at least a few weeks back.
Tells me this:
What can I do? It is the printer's fault or something in Pinguy 14.04 !?
Any idea!?
Thanks

Code:
sane-find-scanner
Code:
... # No USB scanners found. If you expected something different, make sure that
# you have loaded a kernel driver for your USB host controller and have setup
# the USB system correctly. See man sane-usb for details.
# Not checking for parallel port scanners.
# Most Scanners connected to the parallel port or other proprietary ports
# can't be detected by this program.
# You may want to run this program as root to find all devices. Once you
# found the scanner devices, be sure to adjust access permissions as
# necessary.
