New user here using the latest 64bit 14.04 LTS release and decided to update using update manager straight after install.
There was a long list of updates and at the very start of install it mentioned something along the lines of a script or coding line has been modified from the original and would i like an updated version so i agreed.
I'm thinking it might have been some Pinguy distro settings that maybe i should not have agreed to change as now after the updates in the grub bootloader and conky it has changed to Ubuntu 14.04.1.
Is there an issue leaving it this way in terms of reduced functionality, security or features, it all still looks the same and running fine or this is normal and nothing to worry about.
Thanks in advance guys great operating system.
