connection hiccups

I seem to be having connection problems with the new server.
Sometimes I connect straight away and at others it takes several minutes to login.
Some days ,like yesterday, this can be extreme, and I give up and try again in 24 hours.
I never had this problem before the server change so I am wondering if there is a connnection here and if other people are also experiencing problems?

p.s. before anyone asks - it is not my router .
